What Opportunity Awaits?
As we continue to grow progressively, Libro is on a mission to find a passionately accountable Database Developer to design and implement databases across the organization, ensuring high levels of data availability, while defining standards and models for database architecture.

What You'll Do - The Epic Human we are looking for will; 
  •  Coordinate and work with other technical staff to develop relational database architectures and applications
  • Implement and integrate data from third parties, in support of data analytics team.
  • Develop automated database applications, using applicable database packages
  • Design and develop applications that will maintain and augment the database while ensuring the integrity and security of the database.
  • Analyze user requirements and based on findings implement databases for client/server and database applications
  • Develop tools and libraries that will help analytics team members more efficiently interface with large amounts of data.
  • Analyze and investigate software problems reported to development team, and suggest potential corrections for issue
  • Responsible for performing maintenance programming and correction of identified defects
  • Act as high-level support in the escalation of computer and application related problems to assist Branch and other Administration office staff.

What we are looking for - Could this be you?
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5-6 year’s work experience in systems analysis, application programming, and database development
  • Microsoft certification would be an asset.
  • Strong skills in: .NET, VB.NET, C/C++, C#, SQL, OLAP
  • Highly disciplined in the areas of coding and unit testing, with strong technical documentation skills
  • Strong understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles and practices
  • Good understanding of OLAP database technology and data modeling
