We are looking for an Imaging & Workflow Analyst

 

Given the size and scope of our organization, we have the flexibility for this position to be located in the following head office locations: Toronto, London, Winnipeg. 

 

Individual Customer Technology (IC Tech) is an integral part of the Individual Customer organization within London Life.  Our IC Tech professionals make a significant contribution to the companies' business goals through the effective delivery of value-added information services. These services include setting technology direction, project management, analysis, system architecture, software development and the provision of operational support services.

As an Analyst you will investigate how our systems function and document workflows, templates, job-aids, and playbooks that help improve the efficiency of our organization. There will also be an opportunity to work with our project teams.

 

What you will do:

  • Lead requirements gathering discussions with stakeholders and Product Owners to understand their business processes and technical needs
  • Defining business problems/opportunities, providing a clear definition, and performing benefit analysis
  • Work as part of a team, plan, and organize work
  • Communicate to our business partners in writing and verbally in person or remotely
  • Ability to take initiative, demonstrate leadership skills and pay attention to detail
  • Work with our business partners, developers, and quality analysts to implement solutions
  • Document requirements, use cases, user stories, Jira tickets
  • Thorough knowledge of system and process analysis with demonstrated experience and expertise in requirements management, process development/re-engineering and testing skills including information gathering, problem solving, and test plan creation and execution

What you will bring:

 

Degree/diploma in related discipline (computer science) or equivalent combination of training and experience

 

Training or knowledge and experience with:

  • 5 years’ experience as Analyst
  • Bilingual would be an asset
  • Skilled at working with stakeholders to define business processes and gather functional and technical system requirements
  • Gather requirements, designing and mapping the same to the Business processes
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, plan and organize your own work,
  • Communicate effectively in writing and verbally in person or remotely, initiative, team-oriented leadership skills and attention to detail
  • Effective planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to take initiative, demonstrate leadership skills and pay attention to detail
  • Experience with database design or data modeling
  • Experience with workflow or process modeling
  • Experience using Lean, Design Thinking, and Process Automation/Process Optimization methodologies
  • Understanding of IT project methodologies, processes, and practices; experience in both waterfall and agile methodologies is Knowledge around automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous deployment
  • Experience with infrastructure & application support

 

Knowledge of some of the following would be an asset

Confluence, JIRA, FileNet, Appian, OnBase, RPA, Access Databases, .Net, and any documentation related programs
