Account Executive - Enterprise Partner

 

The Enterprise Business Partner is responsible for innovative selling techniques, product knowledge, and a customer focused approach to grow business using the full Start.ca product suite, all while building meaningful relationships with key decision makers. They will also support day-to-day operations of the Sales team by setting clear team goals, priorities and deadlines based off of direction from the Manager/Director. Along with the responsibilities and requirements specific to this role, you are also expected to abide by and encourage Start’s Code of Conduct, helping to strengthen our trusting and positive work environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Make telephone calls, in-person visits, and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
Demonstrate products and services to existing and potential customers and assist them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers to generate new business for the organization.
Provide recommendations on market potential and the value of existing and prospective customer’s value in sales meetings, business reviews, and forecast    activities.
Create and manage a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share, and value opportunities.
Plan and organize personal sales strategies by maximizing the Return on Time Investment for the territory/segment, communicate and maintain 
the direction set out by the Manager/Director.
Oversee day-to-day operations by setting clear team goals, priorities and deadlines based off of direction from the Manager/Director. Track and monitor 
sales to date and support team is meeting their KPI’s and overall business objectives.
Identify areas of opportunity and coach/motivate team members.
Stay relevant on industry services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends.
Manage and update your business in CRM on a consistent basis and maintain all key performance indicators.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks,      and participating in professional societies. 
Provide leadership and guidance to fellow team members.
Other appropriate responsibilities relevant to the role today and the role as it may evolve.

QUALIFICATIONS:

5-7 years of experience in a sales based role.
Superior interpersonal, customer service, and presentation skills coupled with a history of building strong, collaborative relationships internally and    externally.
Solid understanding of the sales process and best practices.
Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving coupled with the ability to determine solutions for customers.
Able to work independently while remaining part of a sales team.
Able to thrive in a fast-paced, ever changing environment and be flexible when priorities shift.
Strong record of success meeting and exceeding personal and team sales goals.
Excellent research, analytical, and follow through skills.
A high standard of integrity and work ethic, including time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
Experience directly calling into Director or C-level positions.
Able to perform computer work, including typing and other fine motor movements for up to 80% of each shift.
Valid G level driver’s license with access to reliable transportation and able to provide a driver’s abstract. 
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate others.
Superior interpersonal and customer service skills.
Technical knowledge of networks and internet troubleshooting is considered an asset.
