STEP Software is currently seeking the right HR professional to help us successfully achieve our mission. We are looking for someone who has demonstrated success as an HR leader, is entrepreneurial at heart, gets excited about building something from the ground up, and is a little bit quirky.

About the Opportunity
What does the day to day look like?- Part Time HR professional (flexible hours) to build our HR department (potential to expand to full time)
- Development of HR strategy and execution
- Grassroots HR department build, including: All HR & HS documentation development, job description creation, performance evaluation tools and systems
- Immediate recruiting support to fill vacancies
- Human Capital planning and management for StringN launch
- Employee engagement and performance management
What is on our ideal candidate’s resume?
- HR Degree or equivalent HR-related experience (min 5 years)
- CHRL or CHRP designation required
- Previous experience in Software, IT, or other high-tech businesses and the operational understanding of the unique nuances associated with IT staff required
- Comprehensive experience with Microsoft suite of applications
- Experience with legislation such as AODA, OHSA, OHRC
- Experience with payroll is a bonus
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Previous leadership and operational experience required
