Position
The candidate will participate in a comprehensive team designing the future capabilities of the world’s smallest and most rugged wireless microphone solutions. Primary responsibilities and accountabilities include the design and development of creative mechanical and mechatronic systems.Requirements:
- solid knowledge of mechanical and industrial design
- ability to visualize and model complex 3D systems
- firm understanding of software/firmware development and board-level electronics design
- comfort working in a dynamic environment with a variety of skill levels and personalities
- eagerness to learn and undertake new projects with minimal supervision
Skills, Abilities & Qualifications
- Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering degree
- 1-5 years related work experience
- CAD experience in Fusion360, SolidWorks, Inventor or similar 3D CAD package
- firmware/software programming experience
- experience reading circuit schematics and troubleshooting electrical circuits
- strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work directly with customer, be versatile and self-reliant
- industrial design experience
- desktop development using Python, C++, C#, Visual Basic, and/or Qt framework
- machining experience
- RF radio
