Position: Digital Production Manager

Type: Full-time; Salary

Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 per annum

The Digital Production Manager exists to ensure that all digital production meets tbk’s standards and client expectations, as well as ensuring that the digital team is well-supported. As a Digital Production Manager, you already have significant experience in digital advertising and SEO. You have the drive to innovate and find efficiencies in the company to better service our clients and improve the workflow for the digital team. You will be given a client portfolio to lead their digital marketing, including some of the nation’s most established brands, and will support these companies in growing further through strategic digital projects and programs.

Responsibilities at a glance:

  • Works directly with the Director of Digital & Operations to produce top quality work for tbk’s clients as well as empowering our team with their day-to-day tasks
  • Runs the daily stand up with digital practitioners to evaluate priorities, blockers and identify at-risk projects.
  • Reviews digital production budgets and coordinating with the account representative on overages and ensuring billable targets are achieved
  • Approve and review media budgets and pacing to ensure no overages or misspend on all the digital accounts at tbk
  • Assists with the production, accuracy, and delivery of reports and presentations for all client accounts by conducting reviews and final approvals.
  • Digital lead on a portfolio of tbk’s digital advertising clients.
  • Weekly check-ins with Director of Digital & Operations on all digital clients at tbk to ensure they’re meeting our performance KPIs and coordinating with the client leads on next steps and strategy
  • Onboards and trains of new digital practitioners including:
    • Onboarding tbk systems & processes.
    • Ensuring access to all appropriate folders and systems
    • Training on the tbk way of digital production and tbk’s best practices
    • Providing shadow opportunities for new digital team members during their onboarding plan
    • Reviewing all first versions from new team members of production in the first two months
    • Identify any skills gaps within the first month to the Director of Digital & Operations
  • Ongoing training and support for digital practitioners including:
    • Supporting with training and mentorship with the Director of Digital & Operations to assist with digital practitioner’s career path
    • Providing a weekly coaching update to the Director of Digital & Operations of both wins for the digital practitioners and as well as areas of improvement or any skills gaps that have been identified
  • Support with project retrospective sessions to identify areas of production improvement within the department and companywide.
  • Creating and implementing (with the approval of the Director of Digital & Operations) new processes to mitigate risk, build efficiencies and improve quality of work within the digital department.
  • Prepares and presents Lunch & Learns or training sessions with the specific teams and/or company to support with training and digital innovation at tbk
  • Creates training and strategy guides incorporating digital best practices and tbk values.
  • Assists the Director of Digital & Operations within the hiring process of new digital practitioners and identifying any resource issues within the department.
  • Supports the accounts team by reviewing and approving digital Statements of Work (SOWs) under $5,000, ensuring SOWs meet the company’s quality standard, production scope and hours, and recommended media.

Your skills and experience:

  • 8+ years’ experience in digital production management and campaign management.
  • Successful completion of a post-secondary program in a relevant field (marketing, digital marketing, business).
  • Expert knowledge in Digital Advertising, Search Engine Optimization, Web Analytics, Email Marketing, Social Marketing, SMS Marketing, Content Marketing, Print/Outdoor Advertising, and other popular marketing industry programs.
  • Expert knowledge in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, SEMRush, Moz and Microsoft Office 365’s suite of software.
  • Strong ability to problem solves, plan, strategize and support the client in achieving KPIs and goals.
  • Proven ability to lead the management of digital marketing projects and execution of CRO and SEO best practices on new web projects, deliver top-quality work in accordance with projects’ scopes, budgets, and timelines.
  • Strong ability to listen, understand, problem-solve, plan, strategize and deliver meaningful digital and creative solutions to clients.
  • A natural leader with a strong ability to motivate, mentor and lead a team.
  • Strong understanding of business goals and standards for digital project customer service
  • Strong ability to problem solves, plan, strategize and support the client in achieving KPIs and goals.
