Internal Title: Media Asset Analyst

Location: London Ontario, Remote

Reports to: Manager, Media

 

The Role: 

Position Overview:

The Media Asset Coordinator is responsible for the aggregation and entry of digital assets into current and historical databases; using applicable company software. This includes the aggregation of all OEM digital imagery, organization and coordination of proprietary images and management of any custom assets into applicable image databases.

 

  • Aggregate, process, catalog, resize and attach all applicable media types into company databases using provided software
  • Digitally file and administer all applicable media with high degree of accuracy
  • Create and maintain accurate workflow tracking (Jira tickets)
  • Integrate custom project related media into the databases as applicable
  • Assist in investigating and analyzing client complaint/info request tickets
  • Support development and implementation of imaging procedures within the department
  • Support the documentation of workflow and functional requirements for new and existing images
  • Assist with the planning of records management, imaging practices, and document retention strategies.
  • Support strategies for determining electronic image lifecycle and disposal
  • Timely and efficient turnaround of media images into applicable databases or similar
  • Support project managers/coordinators to match needs of project with production capacity
  • Post Production of media assets on an as needed basis
  • Other duties as assigned

Key Success Factors/Measures:

 

  • Timely and efficient turnaround of various data type entry (daily, weekly, monthly)
  • Be receptive to quality control feedback (accept criticism and advice)
  • Support on time delivery of project related assets (e.g. custom clients)
  • Provide insight and suggestions for the development of department processes

 

Education, Experience and Competencies:

  • Vehicle knowledge a strong asset
  • Excellent customer-service orientation
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop a strong asset
  • PC skills and hands-on experience with Microsoft excel and word is an asset
  • Exceptionally self-motivated, directed, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Effective written, oral, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
  • Understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Should be living within the 2hours drive from the London Office, might be required to travel at times.
