DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER
This is a Temporary Full-Time Position - Up to 12 months

  

What is a Digital Marketing Manager?

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and execution of a multi-channel digital marketing strategy supporting GoodLife’s business goals and strategic objectives for GoodLife members, potential members and Associates. The Digital Marketing Manager oversees all digital marketing activity and manage the efforts of the digital marketing and content team.

The Digital Marketing Manager will partner with brand, cross-functional, cross-agency, and vendor teams to lead the planning, building, and executing integrated digital marketing campaigns to support GoodLife’s current and future products, services and departments.

You will over see a team of content creators, designers and digital marketing experts who’s focus is to create world class digital experiences and grow GoodLife’s business through lead generation, member acquisition and long term retention. The Digital Marketing Manager has a passion for digital marketing, social media and health and fitness.

 

What will you be doing?

  • Oversee the execution of digital marketing campaigns and content platforms to ensure their success through KPI’s, timeline, budget and scope while meeting business and marketing objectives
  • Develop and execute GoodLife’s digital marketing and content strategies
  • Lead the strategic planning, execution and ongoing optimization of social, email and content channels, while continuing to test new growth channels to optimize performance
  • Perform robust analysis and derive insights to identify opportunities, quantify their impact, and help prioritize tactics to achieve digital marketing objectives
  • Responsible for tracking and reporting of ‘always on’, monthly, and ad hoc digital marketing campaigns against department and business KPI’s
  • Develop standards, systems and best practices for content creation, distribution and content repurposing, including real-time implementation of the content strategy
  • Build and manage relationships with internal and external subject matter experts, partners, key influencers, etc.
  • Lead and manage a cross-functional production, content and digital marketing team
  • Foster collaboration among teams and facilitate brainstorms, think tanks and ideation session that drive creativity, innovation and idea generation
  • Deliver creative, content and production excellence in all digital fundamentals across campaigns and content platforms including: social, video, content and strategy
  • Identify and develop key target personas and audiences for campaigns
  • Stay abreast of digital and content industry trends, business opportunities and best practices
  • Educate and inform key stakeholders on digital marketing levers to improve their marketing campaign and drive business results
  • Provide insights and recommendations to test, analyze and optimize digital marketing performance in key channels and track relative to YoY and forecast
  • Know the business – work closely with the design team, portfolio owners, marketing, research and operations to cultivate relationships in order to drive progress against the content strategy and member journey

 

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor’s degree (Preferably in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or Public Relations), or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. A master at multi-tasking with strong time-and project-management skills
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Experienced in interviewing subject matter experts and can demonstrate your ability to write strong, compelling, easy to read and creative copy to concisely communicate complex ideas and technical concepts
  • Meticulous proofreading and editing skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to prioritize requests
  • Positive attitude, goal oriented, value team collaboration and be comfortable working alone
  • Demonstrated content marketing experience and success
  • Exceptional verbal, presentation and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand data and adjust content strategy based on analytics
  • Strategic planning skills – ability to align content strategy with the organization’s goals
