Position Summary: As a member of the Production Support Team you will have the opportunity to work closely with the talented members of our team to make sure our deployed products run smoothly. This involves diagnosing and fixing issues arising from the field in a timely fashion. This role may also require communicating directly with our clients.  In our fast-paced environment, the connection between effort and results is very strong which makes the experience very rewarding. You will also get to design and develop various tools to improve the quality of our products.

This position can be performed from our office in London Ontario, remotely in Ontario, or a combination of both.  Remote based employees may occasionally be asked to travel to our office for meetings or team building events.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and fix data issues;
  • Write and execute scripts in live systems;
  • Design and develop tools to improve the quality of our service and products;
  • Fix root cause issues and implement product enhancements;
  • Work closely with Account Managers and Customer Service Representatives; and
  • Other duties as requested, discussed and agreed upon with the company.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and/or experience;
  • Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail;
  • Ability to refocus and adapt as priorities change;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to learn and work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Familiarity with Linux; and
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience developing with PL/SQL and Java.
Additional Bonus Skills:
  • Application Server experience, especially Wildfly;
  • Familiarity with Oracle, XML, JSON, Maven, REST; and
  • PowerBuilder experience.
