New Product Inventory Planner


Description

StarTech.com is currently looking for a New Product Inventory (NPI) Planner to join our Supply Chain team.

Reporting to the Manager, Partner Inventory Planning & Execution the NPI Planner will be accountable for the execution of new product and new customer launches from an Operations perspective. The NPI Planner’s key responsibility will be to enable sales by ensuring products are available in the right place at the right time and at the optimal SKU mix and quantity.

The NPI Planner will work closely with Category Management, Vendor Management, Product Development, Product Management, Finance and Purchasing to ensure on time Product Availability.

What will you be doing?

  • You will drive the Sales & Operations process for areas owned, vetting plans with key stakeholders and presenting them in the monthly cycle
  • You will develop plans to put optimal inventory levels in the correct channels through the creation of launch priority plans
  • You will work with Vendor Management and the Buying Team to ensure readiness of products, proper mix of delivery and all other related considerations
  • You will prepare status updates and communicate cross functionally with various stakeholders across the business including all levels of leadership

What can you bring to the table?

  • University Business Degree or College Business Diploma. Supply Chain related considered an asset
  • 3-5 Years of Supply Chain/Planning/Inventory Management experience required
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills
  • Power BI knowledge and asset
  • APIC, CSCMP designations are preferred
