Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily onsite break/fix support for Ingersoll users, including installation, configuration, and support of hardware and software systems (PCs, laptops, printers, peripherals).
  • Offer remote support for all other IMT locations.
  • Participate in network infrastructure maintenance and support, encompassing LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
  • Respond to end-user requests for technical assistance and promptly resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Set up new user accounts and conduct orientation on system usage and best practices.
  • Monitor system performance, proactively identify potential issues, and troubleshoot accordingly.
  • Collaborate with other members of IMT's IT team and vendors to diagnose and resolve technical issues, as well as support system upgrades and installations.
  • Maintain accurate logs and documentation of all support activities, including service requests and resolutions.
  • Ensure IMT's hardware and software are up-to-date with the latest patches and updates.
  • Provide user training and support to ensure effective use of technology.

 

Qualifications:

  • Technical diploma or degree, or equivalent work experience with IT certifications.
  • 2-4 years of relevant IT experience.
  • Must have permanent residency or be a Canadian citizen.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  •  

The successful candidate must be willing to travel to other IMT locations and be available to work after-hours, evenings and/or weekends as required.
