Talent Sourcer - High Volume Talent Acquisition

Ontario - Remote 

Our Talent Acquisition team at JMP Solutions delivers high-quality candidates, for a variety of Engineering, Corporate and Sr. Leadership positions, across our 16 business units in North America.  We operate with timeliness and candidate experience at top of mind. The ideal Talent Sourcer, is an effective team collaborator, problem solver, improvement guru, with a commitment to providing exceptional candidate experiences every day.  This individual is passionate about finding great talent – a hunter, researcher at heart - with an external focus driving top performing talent to JMP. This role focuses on pipelining and engaging prospective talent; experience in the full cycle recruiting process is an asset.

This is a remote position, ideally located in Southern Ontario, with periodic travel to JMP local business units as required.

What would a typical day look like?

  • Focus on Talent vs. Acquisition: uncovering talent not actively applying for positions at JMP
  • Support company’s strategic talent needs by augmenting current recruiting processes – focus on “what’s next vs. what’s open”- allowing space and time to pipeline diverse and well-qualified candidates
  • Conduct phone interviews with sourced talent, present qualified individuals to the appropriate talent acquisition specialist
  • Create a “buzz” in the talent market by networking through industry-related groups, specialty job boards, employer branding programs – get creative: always be sourcing
  • Keep detailed records and information on sourced talent in our ATS
  • Serve as a Talent SWAT Team: jump in to support recruiting functions however needed to succeed in overall Talent Acquisition objectives 

What qualifies you for this opportunity?

  • 2+ years of sourcing and/or recruitment experience is preferred
  • The ability to dive into various sourcing channels and techniques – win the war for talent
  • Hands-on experience working in a fast-paced high volume environment
  • Experience in sourcing/recruiting in the engineering, industrial automation space is an asset
  • Working knowledge and understanding of all aspects of full life cycle recruiting
  • Experience documenting in applicant tracking systems – LinkedIn preferred, not required
  • Data-driven decision maker, able to use data to tell compelling talent stories
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills – experience in influencing without authority – the ability to speak to all levels of an organization
