As an Front End Developer, you will work with a diverse team of developers, designers and stakeholders to create and code websites and web applications using HTML, CSS and JavaScript, continually refining work based on user feedback.  The incumbent will focus on creating new and exciting software products within an agile work environment.

Responsibilities 

• Collaborate with a product development team to develop customer-facing web pages, forms and applications using GitHub, HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript and JQuery.
• Attend and actively participate in Agile/SCRUM planning meetings.
• Test and debug web pages and applications prior to launch.
• Partner with Designers, Developers and Product Owners to define specifications and gather requirements. Review project use cases and assess the technical feasibility of designs.

Education 

College Diploma in Web Design or equivalent experience.                     

Knowledge and Experience

• Minimum 3 years related experience
• Working knowledge of GitHub, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript, JQuery and Adobe Creative Suite
• Responsive Design experience
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Proven experience in a highly collaborative team environment
• js, Ruby on Rails experience an asset
• Bootstrap Framework experience an asset
• PrinceXML experience an asset
