We are seeking a talented Mechanical Designer/Engineer to join our verification and validation team. You will play a crucial role in supporting product development and product sustainment initiatives for water and wastewater treatment equipment. As a vital member of our cross-disciplinary team, you will contribute to various stages of the product lifecycle, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Your work will have a direct impact on improving water and wastewater quality global.

This position is part of the Innovation & Technology Team located in London, Ontario and will be onsite.

In this role, you will:

  • Carry out assignments of substantial variety and/or complexity requiring a sound understanding of related engineering principles, and practices.

  • Conduct verification and validation activities to ensure products meet regulatory and quality standards.

  • Design, adapt, or direct the building of test setups and equipment for new situations, based on analysis of test specifications and engineering department requests and instructions.

  • Participate in testing and field verification.

  • As a member of a collaborative team, create and deliver on project plans.

  • Ability to travel in North America 10% of the time.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Post-secondary education in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering

  • At least 5 years of experience in an engineering-related field.

  • Hands-on experience with verification methodologies and testing tools.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience in designing and developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

  • Proficiency in using verification and validation tools (e.g., simulation tools, automated testing frameworks).

  • Proficient in using CAD software such as Solidworks 3D or Inventor.
