McLean & Company, a division of Info-Tech Research Group, is building a team of professional business advisors and executive coaches, to assist our diverse client base of senior HR leaders in driving their own, and their organization’s success. 

Please Note: We are open to remote candidates located in Canada either within the Eastern or Pacific time zones or who are willing to work within business hours for these time zone. This role may periodically require after – hours work to meet the needs of clients in different time zones.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop trusted peer relationships with executive clients, meeting by video-conference or in person.
  • Evaluate clients’ needs and work with them to set objectives and develop a strategy/work plan within the terms and conditions of the client agreement.
  • Diagnose member value expectations, pain points, and connect them with appropriate McLean & Company product solutions.
  • Provide confidential and professional advice to clients, guiding them through complex projects by providing critical analysis, support, and helping them find new and innovative ways to view HR issues and resolve HR challenges.
  • Provide proactive thought leadership and new ideas not “asked for” on behalf of the client’s membership.
  • Coach HR leaders on both personal and organizational development.
  • Debriefing 360 feedback reports and other McLean & Company talent related diagnostics.
  • Participate in regular communication / support / education and participation with internal commercial partners with respect to account planning and support efforts.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • 20+ years in HR leadership roles, with at least 5 years in an HR executive role in a medium to large size organization
  • Subject matter expertise across multiple functions in McLean & Company’s HR taxonomy
  • Experience in developing Talent Strategies and working with Boards of Directors.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with executives, and staff at all levels across the organization.
  • Proven ability to participate in unstructured value-based client conversations and create new methods for a client’s personal success.
  • Collaborative, with superior listening, critical thinking, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to create frameworks around fuzzy or unstructured topics, to enable colleagues and clients with executable, practical solutions to HR challenges.
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, flexible, rapidly changing work environment.
  • Intellectually curious about the effect of HR on the business landscape, with a passion for continuous learning.
  • Solid business instincts and a practical understanding of what makes companies tick and how HR professionals/executive teams operate.
  • Ability to obtain a TN visa and travel up to 50%.
