We're looking for an Artisan engineer who defines our security principles across the whole organization and leads innovation in security and compliance across all systems and tooling. Our Principal Engineer, Security, and Compliance will define the long-term vision for AppSec engineering and will lead organization-wide initiatives to continuously improve security and makes contributions to the development of best practices in the wider engineering industry.

Your Focus
- Develop multi-year roadmaps to solve complex security challenges company-wide
- Design processes for auditing and identifying security vulnerabilities across our full architecture
- Provide security guidance to application and service owners to remediate known security vulnerabilities
- Mentor product engineering teams to equip them with the skills to include security in every design decision
- Set the example for and actively maintain a disciplined, first-principles approach to problem-solving
- Publish articles and lead talks in the wider engineering community
- Engage with 3rd party vendors to establish regular audits
- Collaborates closely with our compliance authority to translate our obligations into actionable technical solutions.

- Passionate about solving complex problems
- Demonstrable experience of leading security in highly-regulated industries
- Public cloud architecture (Azure, AWS or GCP)
- Full-stack security testing patterns
- Mastery of data protection strategies
- API design (API and GraphQL)
- CI / CD tools and patterns
