THE OPPORTUNITY

Our HR Advisors are seasoned professionals who are passionate about all things HR! They are keen listeners and have a knack for asking the right questions to fully understand our clients needs. Our advisors love learning, after all they must keep up with the evolving legislative landscape coast to coast!

As an HR Advisor, you will:

• Provide on-demand over the phone advice and guidance to our clients (across Canada) on anything HR. Think: legislative compliance, termination, return to work, performance management, progressive discipline, employee relations, and more!
• Provide guidance and interpretation of HR-related legislation and regulations across jurisdictions including employment standards, occupational health and safety, human rights, and workers’ compensation.
• Direct clients to (or provide clients with) additional resources to improve their understanding and help to resolve their expressed concern or inquiry.
• Ensure client satisfaction and foster client engagement on every call.
• Remain abreast of all current and emerging HR-related legislation, regulations, and best practices.

ABOUT YOU

You are an HR professional who:

• Has at least 10 years of progressive HR experience.
• Has proven experience developing, implementing, maintaining, and advising on all primary HR functions.
• Has an in-depth understanding of all HR-related legislation and regulations, including interpretation and application.
• Can establish rapport quickly and build lasting and trusting relationships.
• Is focused on the customer or client experience.
• Has strong research abilities and the desire for continuous learning.
• Has strong written and verbal communication.
• Has a degree or diploma in HR, or a related field.

It’s a bonus if you:

• Are fluent in English and French!
• Have experience in multiple jurisdictions and industries.
