About the role: 

The Engineering Intern is responsible for supporting Product Development initiatives. This position is part of the Research and Development department located in London, Ontario and will be hybrid.

In this role, you will: 

·        Be involved in engineering projects through testing and validation, report writing, results analysis and recommendations, documentation, and assembling test fixtures

·        Design and build experiments to investigate or verify new technologies or products

·        Support product engineering changes from ideation to production, while following the engineering design process and implementation procedures

 

Are you qualified? The essential requirements of the job include:  

·        Post-secondary enrolment in Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering or Technology Program with the ability to work a minimum of 12 months

·        Proficient in using SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD software

·        Sound knowledge of mechanical/electrical safety practices 

 

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: 

·        Using standard hand tools and the ability to work hands-on with physical components
