In the Account Manager position, you’ll be working directly with our clients, the Account Director, General Manager, and all other departments across the agency. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and coordination of client accounts and the production of work that supports them, as well as managing and strengthening client relationships. The Account Manager assists in overall client strategy, including determining marketing approaches that will deliver results for their client’s businesses. 
 

Full-time remote is available nationally (within Canada only, must be willing to flexibly work in various Canadian time zones) 

 

Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Actively manage the day-to-day project progress and communicate team updates as necessary to ensure the key stakeholders are informed on project progress and expected delivery. 
  • Manages client expectations and ensures timely and on-target deliverables throughout the account lifecycle.
  • Constant coordination with internal and external stakeholders to execute deliverables, including scheduling project development tasks, team follow-up, and client communications
  • Risk management; proactively flagging risks/issues to scope, budget, timing, or resourcing to key players and finding solutions to bring the project?back on track. 
  • Understands our clients’ key contacts, organization structures, processes, and business plans, coordinating communication flows.
  • Nurtures client relationships, anticipates client needs, and identifies solutions & opportunities to educate, grow and add value to client accounts.
  • Assists in managing the profitability of your team’s portfolio, budgets, project scope, and timelines to ensure timely and profitable delivery of services and client satisfaction.
  • Partners with the Account Director, Creative Director, and Strategists on their accounts and projects to define strategy, using various marketing approaches to drive and increase ROI for clients.
  • Contributes to thought leadership, identifying trends, and applying this thinking toward client results. 
  • Other duties as required.
     

Our Ideal Qualifications & Skills 

  • Experience working with clients, managing expectations, and delivering top-notch customer service.
  • Strong attention to detail, high level of quality, and extremely organized.
  • Exceptional reporting and presentation skills and a deep understanding of marketing, both application and theory.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Curiosity and passion for marketing.
  • Strong emotional control and intelligence.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar account management role or digital marketing capacity.
  • College or University-level education in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
  • Able to identify opportunities within ongoing strategies for areas of optimization.
  • Experience working on cross-functional digital marketing campaigns and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong team player, able to work with diverse groups and skill sets.
  • Google Ads Certified — knowledge of Google Analytics and best practices for digital marketing campaigns.
