Marketing Analytics Coordinator (Remote)

Reporting to the Director of Data & Analytics, our Web Analytics Coordinator will assist with the development, implementation, and optimization of web tracking efforts that tie in Google Analytics with relevant digital ad platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn) as well as the development of reporting solutions that meet and exceed our client’s needs.

 

We’re looking for an eager, excited, & creative individual that wants to learn the ins and outs of web analytics and the digital marketing ecosystem. The role will be predominantly focused on setting up, monitoring, and providing high-quality, data-driven insights. The successful candidate will 1) have a keen eye for detail, 2) be obsessed with data, and 3) want to learn from and be part of a talented, passionate team of digital marketers. 

 

The ideal candidate will join some of Canada’s top digital talents to produce best-in-class results for well-known brands including Silver Jeans, SAXX Underwear, Orangetheory Fitness, Firehouse Subs, The Canadian Association of Optometrists, & Ivey Business School.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Set up, manage and optimize web tracking using Google Analytics (UA), Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Business Manager, LinkedIn and more.
  • Align setup and optimizations with support from the senior strategy team.
  • Have knowledge and be eager to learn about supporting technology like Shopify, Demandware, WooCommerce, and other client-side technology solutions and how they integrate with ad platforms and web-tracking tools.
  • Assist our talented team of digital marketers with developing insights and client reporting solutions using Google Sheets and Google Data Studio.
  • Organize data using tools such as Google Sheets and Excel.
  • Analyze the collected data and create reports considering performance trends and data anomalies, while identifying opportunities for optimization.
  • Participate in strategic and creative brainstorming for our clients.
  • Work with project teams to develop new and innovative ad opportunities for clients to help them reach their organizational goals.
  • Monitor the changing landscape of digital marketing and the different channels we use.

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Passion for data & analytics as well as a desire to gain experience in the field.
  • 1 year of digital advertising or data analysis experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Certified in Google Analytics, Google Ads, Search Advertising, Display Advertising preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads and Facebook Ads.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, & self-tasking skills.
  • Knowledge of the Google suite of products is an asset (Sheets, Slides, Gmail, etc.)
  • Knowledge of advanced spreadsheet manipulation (formulas, pivot tables, filters) an asset.
  • An interest in learning basic coding  (surface-level PHP, Javascript. HTML, CSS) would be an asset.
  • Meticulous detail while developing spreadsheets & presentations.
  • Strong team player within diverse teams, and the ability to collaborate among them.
