The Service Desk Technician Co-op provides support to the Service Desk team by responding to service tickets and user requests

Major Responsibilities 

  • Provide technical support for all incoming requests/incidents via phone and e-mail for all end users. (Multiple Sites)
  • Log all incoming requests/incidents via ticketing system
  • Attempt to resolve requests/incidents on an FCR basis
  • Escalate to second/third level support teams where necessary
  • Other duties as assigned


Required Skills: 

  • Customer Service: Customer Service is essential for the service aspect of Service Desk.
  • Responds to request from all organizational levels with an expectation of being professional and courteous.
  • Problem Solving and Critical Thinking: Troubleshoot technical issues and determine solutions
  • Windows Desktop, MAC OSX, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Mobile support: Android & IOS


Education and Experience

  • College/University diploma/degree in progress in related field – (Computer Systems Technology courses are prefered)
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Interest in working with technology (independent work)

Pay: This role pays CAD 16/hr, 40 hours/week.
