Position Description:
We are looking for a full time ETL Developer to work primarily with our Product and Development teams to design, implement and maintain ETLs for analytical solutions.

The ETL Developer will be responsible for creating and maintaining ETL processes.


The successful candidate will have strong communication skills (both written and verbal), and organizational skills. Knowledge of SQL Server, ETL and data models is preferred.



Responsibilities:
  1. Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines using ETL processes.
  2. Gather and analyze business requirements to transform and load correct high-quality data.
  3. Build and maintain Data Warehouses to suit the loading of new data requirements.
  4. Performance tuning of existing ETLs.
  5. Ensure that the ETL architecture is scalable and maintainable.
  6. Assist the analytics team with development of BI reports, dashboards, and portals.
  7. Assess and cultivate long-term strategic goals for BI and ETL development.
  8. Deployment of new releases / changes to Test and Production systems.
  9. Other duties as assigned.



Requirements:
  1. Knowledge of SQL Server (SSMS, SSRS, and SSIS)
  2. Familiar with Data Warehouses and ETL processes.
  3. Passionate about business intelligence technology and designing BI solutions that will provide outstanding user experience.
  4. Strong knowledge of analyzing as well as designing ETLs and data models that meet reporting needs.
  5. Strives for continuous improvement.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  7. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.

Experience Required:
  • Post-Secondary Education in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3+ years experience in designing and developing ETL processes.
