Customer Service Representative

Synergy Windows and Doors Inc. is fast paced growing company making  Architectural Windows and Doors. Our Customer Service Representatives must be an effective part of the sales team, by developing good working relationships with our customer base; meeting quoting deadlines with follow-up to close the quoted project.

Duties & Responsibilities:

·         Regularly check for incoming quotes for preparation and return to the client via fax or email

·         Qualify incoming phone calls and emails from existing dealers, home owners, inquiring about Synergy products

·         Review information to set up new dealers when they inquire about purchasing Synergy products

·         Analyze quote requests, follow with questions, information required prior to quote process

·         Recommend options to customers for better value on the project.

·         Input and complete quotes in excel, using pricing available in a custom format – able to rationalize pricing based on products required

·         Work closely with CAD to develop drawings/details for quotes/orders

·         Gather all information on large projects from blueprints, try to obtain window/door schedules for help – complete take off  if schedule not available, based on scale provided;

          calculate quantities of same size/specification

·         As large quotes are revised record changes on excel spreadsheet so customer can see changes and price increase/decreases as easy reference

·         Assist, collaborate with and train other employees as required

·         Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in your position

 

Skills & Competencies:

·         Proficiency in the use of Microsoft word, excel, email

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills to discuss custom quote requirements by phone and email

·         Good understanding of building industry – particularly windows and doors

·         Able to read and scale off blueprints accurately

·         Attention to detail; the capacity to prioritize by assessing situations to determine urgency

·         Skills to develop a work schedule, set goals, multi-task, create/implement action plans and monitor progress towards goals and completion of work


Experience:

·         2-3 years experience in a similar customer service role

·         Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
