The Human Resources Business Partner–Level 1 manages Human Resources initiatives to support Libro’s business strategy, providing support and expertise in the areas of HR planning, recruitment, performance management, conflict resolution and employee relations. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives and driving HR functional excellence, talent strategies and process improvement. 
 
**This role is based in London and eligible for flexibile work arrangements including a combination of remote and in-office work.**
The Expert we are looking for will:
  • Be responsible for promoting Libro’s brand, and partnering with people leaders and HR colleagues in talent acquisition and maintenance of Libro’s talent pipeline for future anticipated needs
  • Lead, oversee and actively participate in the hiring process for all positions within the specified area of responsibility
  • Respond to inquiries from all branch and administrative employees in a prompt and
  • Provide support with HR related issues including investigations, performance, development and other employee relations issues of a routine nature; seeks advice and support from Supervisor or HRBP2 for more complex, non-routine issues
  • Coach people leaders and employees on development of action planning initiatives, such as talent development and succession planning to build deep and robust talent pipelines
  • Coach and provide expertise to people leaders to optimize talent and leverage employee strengths to reach business outcomes and build effective and high performing teams; partner with HR Supervisor and HRBPL2 for complicated situations
  • Build strong relationships with people leaders and teams, establishing creditability with a focus of HR as a Change Agent
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in HR Management, Business Administration or related field and/or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated HR generalist experience, with strong experience within recruitment for professional level positions, conflict resolution and performance management discussion
  • CHRP, CHRL or actively pursuing HR designation 
  • Experience in change management, training and coaching of employees
  • Ability to effectively respond to sensitive workplace situations and maintain confidentiality
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, plan and organize work, in order to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Intermediate to advanced level in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote
