Job Description
As we continue to grow, PSD Citywide is looking to add a motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Intern to join our dynamic Research & Marketing team. This is a temporary three-month summer internship starting May 1, 2024, the successful candidate will work 40 hours per week. This is a remote based position within Canada and will pay $20.00 per hour.

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Fluidly work on multiple projects at once with the ability to prioritize while multitasking.
• Contributing to the writing, editing and production of external and internal material.
• Assisting in the creation and production of webinars, articles, and blog posts to showcase our corporate products and services and/or legislation and funding briefings.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support team member requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in using spreadsheet software for data organization and analysis and Google shared docs for writing and collaborating.
• Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
• Proficiency in creating and editing written and visual content.
• Basic understanding of CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot).
• Proven ability to network and effectively communicate the value of PSD's products, services, and brand.
• Deadline driven individual with strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, creative, and able to collaborate with team members with professionalism and tact.


Recruitment Process

Phone Interview

Virtual Interview
Candidates invited to an in-person virtual interview will meet with the department Manager and a member of the People and Culture team. This will allow the candidate to get to know the team as well as learn more about our processes, culture, and growth opportunities we have at PSD.
