Position Overview

Reporting directly to the Director, IT and Performance, this role is responsible for installs, maintenance, tests, and repairs of systems and networks. Utilizes basic technical knowledge to support IT initiatives and provide first-level technical IT support to Voyago employees.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide telephone, remote or on-site support for employees
  • Help Desk management and triage tickets based on severity
  • Perform diagnostics, repairs and hardware installation for desktops, laptops, smartphones, tablets, printers, etc.
  • Provide software, hardware and operational support
  • Documentation of incidents and solutions within the ticketing system
  • Document and track asset assignments
  • Provide the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
  • Guide the customer through the problem-solving process
  • Escalation of incident or unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Provide accurate information on IT products or services
  • Provide consistent follow-up to the ticket stakeholders
  • Provide feedback, suggestions and best practices learn to the IT team
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
  • Prepare, repair and configure equipment (PC, Printers, UPS, etc.)
  • Active Directory Users Management
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
  • Participate in after hours on-call rotation to support the business

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

  • College diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience in a similar role preferred
  • Windows OS environment (Windows 10, 11)
  • Microsoft 365 and its suite of applications (Teams, SharePoint and etc.)
  • Ticket management platform (eg. ConnectWise)
  • Smartphone and Tablet OS (eg. Android & iOS)
  • Strong technical knowledge, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Works well in a team setting
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to deliver quality solutions within assigned timeline with minimal to no supervision
  • Capable of driving a G class company vehicle in a safe and professional manner
  • Effective communication skills
  • Highly organized and able to multitask
