What you'll do 

You will design and build interactive, dynamic proofs-of-concept on entirely new data sets, making innovative tools to help retail investors around the world understand the impact of their investments. You’ll contribute to internal and client projects by sketching with code, developing design systems, and helping with pitches. You’ll collaborate with our other Designers, Developers, and Engineers to bring new ideas from concepts to industrial-strength solutions. 

• Dive into our thousands of new and existing data sets looking for ways to help our end users. 

• Design, sketch and protype new interactive data visualizations for desktop, touch UI and XR. 

• Join client meetings to develop new business, define projects, collaborate on integrations, and demonstrate deliverables.  

• Contribute to a rich, multi-disciplinary Design culture. 

What you bring 

You think of yourself as a hybrid Designer/Developer: you love to solve complex human problems with technology and are as happy trying an idea in code as illustrating it. You have a body of work demonstrating interactive and visual design skills, backed by the development skills to implement your concepts. You care deeply about the user experience, effective design, and code quality. 

• You have at least three years of UI/UX experience creating digital interactive experiences. 

• You have experience with collaborative, interactive prototyping tools like Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma. 

• You are comfortable with the tools of modern web development: HTML/CSS/JavaScript, NPM, git, build automation, and API integrations. 

• You challenge yourself both personally and professionally, staying current with technology, interaction design and data-visualization trends.  

• Your knowledge of UI animation, storyboarding and motion graphics is a plus.  

• Experience with Mobile front-end technologies like XCode, SwiftUI, Android Studio and Kotlin is a great addition.

• For work locations in the state of Colorado, the anticipated minimum base salary for this role would be $65,250. Compensation will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the applicant.
