Our Privilged access and Directory services squad is part of the Identity and Access Management group. This team is responsible for designing, implementing and operating processes and technologies that support Canada life Privileged Access and Directory service solutions.

 

This position is being offered in Toronto or London, Ontario and/or Winnipeg, Manitoba

 

What you’ll do:

 

The Senior information Security Specialist, PAM will work closely with other members of the squad in the design, implementation and operation of Privileged Access Management solutions across canadalife. You will also participate in resolving Privilged access incidents as part of BAU activities.

  • Participate in Design and implementation of PAM features and capabilities including Discovery, password management, Privilged Elevation and Delegation Management, Privilged Session management, Just-in-time access provisioning and Just Enough Privilege provisioning.
  • Lead customization of scripts used for password management in the PAM solution based on Canadalife’s need
  • Contribute to the enhancement and automation of privileged account discovery and reporting for infrastructures, cloud and applications.
  • Act SME to business lines in providing PAM consultation and advisory for best practices in security privileged accounts across the enterprise.
  • Participate in meetings and training events with a willingness to share knowledge and learn from other team members
  • Demonstrate commitment to respectful workplace and workplace diversity initiatives
  • May be required to act as 2nd or 3rd level support in the resolution of PAM incidents and tasks assigned through ServiceNow
  • May be required to be part of weekly oncall rotation for after business hour support of PAM and directory services technologies.

Who you are:

  • 5 years of experience in the administration of PAM technologies including CyberArk PASM, CyberArk EPM, Hashicorp vault or Azure PIM, is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in designing, implementing and troubleshooting CyberArk PASM solutions such as EPV, PVWA, CPM and PSM is required.
  • 2 years Experience in customizing cyberark plugins is required.
  • Experience in managing privileged accounts in Windows, Unix, Linux, databases, applications and cloud platforms and VMs
  • Some experience in powershell or bash scripting will be an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of REST API, Oauth, JWT and experience in setting up applications to retrieve secrets from the vault will be vaulable
  • A degree or equivalent education in a related discipline such as Computer Science, information technology or Engineering is required
