Marketing Manager
POSITION OVERVIEW
SoftwareReviews is looking for a driven and organized individual with great communication skills to join the team as Marketing Manager, focussed on Vendor Engagement. The role will be responsible for ensuring the distribution and usage of SoftwareReviews marketing collateral by our vendor partners by working with the sales team to actively drive distribution and presentation across vendor websites.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
The main goal of this role will be to engage with vendors, and work with them to display SoftwareReviews badges and other collateral with backlinks to the SoftwareReviews domain. To achieve success, you should have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and meticulous attention to detail. Marketing Managers will work with the marketing team, supporting teams (such as sales and development), and with external vendor clients.
Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
- Plan and execute programs to contact and convince vendor winners to utilize our content on their sites including a link back to our domain
- Work with the Sales team to coordinate communication with existing vendor clients and initiate new conversations to optimize client relationships
- Develop collateral clearly articulating the benefits of the Vendor Award program and collateral to increase adoption
- Measure and report on KPIs to key stakeholders
- Continually optimize the collateral program and internal technology to increase internal efficiency and promote widespread usage
- Work to automate and scale this program using a marketing automation tool
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND
- BA/BS degree in marketing or a related field
- 3-5 years proven experience working in a performance marketing environment
- Experience with Salesforce, specifically reporting, campaign object, and dashboard creation
- Hands on experience with Marketo or other leading marketing automation platforms
- Experience with marketing analytics tools like Google Analytics a plus

- Creativity: Able to build creative means to engage prospects, and then be creative in building solutions to meet mutual goals between SoftwareReviews and our vendor partners.
