The Role: 

The Senior Manager Business Development will be tasked with the identification, creation and nurturing of professional relationships throughout our Agency Partners, OEM Digital Program Partners, OEM/Brand Clients, select dealer groups and industry participants that sell products and services to OEMs and Dealers that include our data and services. This position will specifically focus on building revenue growth for J.D. Powers, ChromeData brand. This role will help our clients identify and define their key client challenges and provide suggested data and application solutions from ChromeData. Reporting to the Senior Director Business Development this position will coordinate and execute on the sales strategy with their assigned accounts and develop new revenue growth opportunities

 Responsibilities:

  • Identify new opportunities, connect with current and new clients/customers, drive discovery within client meetings/presentations, follow-up with specific recommendations, actions, packages and pricing
  • Build trusted and valued relationships with our client partners and internal company stakeholders
  • Continue to educate our partners, OEMs and dealers on the value of our products and services
  • Responsible for outreach to existing and new clients to support key engagements
  • Develop client proposals and recommendations – PowerPoint presentations, proposals and sell sheets to summarize recommendation, pricing and expected results
  • Utilize Salesforce to record and consistently update weekly pipeline and next steps to support business
  • Quota-driven business development plan to reward year-over-year growth
  • Assist in the development and execution of a cross sell strategy for your assigned accounts and new clients
  • Work with key VAR partners and develop a marketing plan with clear objectives, for our mutual success
  • Work with key VAR partners to setup key performance indicators for monthly and quarterly review
  • Work with internal teams to determine the best tools and solutions in order to drive acquisition, conquest, and sales across different solutions
  • Proactively provide partner feedback that can be utilized for future product enhancements and product development and provide feedback loop to ensure value input into our innovation roadmap
  • Build company credibility, brand value, and trust with your partners and their prospective customers
  • Participate in sales and channel development strategies to assist the company in optimizing information related to the industry and customer needs

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in a related discipline (Marketing, IT, Business) or an equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • 3-5 years’ experience, which must be in the auto industry in marketing, Advertising or CRM, within the OEM, platform supplier or digital marketing agency
  • Deep knowledge of multi-channel automotive marketing with strong digital marketing background
  • Background within data sales and management preferred
  • Understanding of Sales Force for opportunity management and tracking preferred
  • Understand multi-tier automotive landscape with ability to identify how ChromeData solutions can apply to current on key market trends  
  • Strong communication skills with ability to develop and maintain strong personal and professional relationships with our clients 
  • Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
