The successful candidate will initially work from home until such time we return to our corporate office. Our ideal candidate will leave within commuting distance to either the Toronto or London, Ontario office.

Summary

As a member of the Technology Services Team, the Technology Deliver Manager drives the technical delivery of strategic programs spanning Canacede’s Business Development, Product Management and Operational Teams. The Technology Deliver Manager is an experienced subject matter expert in Salesforce development. They partner with Canaccede’s internal teams to develop the product roadmap for the organization and lead our development and QA activities to realize it. The Technology Delivery Manager takes the lead role driving competitive advantage for Canaccede in bringing together advanced capabilities in analytics & data science, real-time decisioning, and integration with 3rd party and customer systems.

Job Duties

  • Actively participate in determining business priorities and sequence for execution of technical project implementation and delivery
  • Work closely with product management to define and maintain the product roadmap for core products, feature enhancements, and new product development
  • Take ownership of the feature backlog to implement the product roadmap, including definition, prioritization, and execution of tasks in the backlog
  • Join in requirements development activities with key internal stakeholders to ensure the backlog contains complete and comprehensive work packages for development & QA teams
  • Provide technical direction, expertise, and sign-off on solution architectures and designs
  • Lead our offshore engineering teams to drive execution of development and QA activities from the feature backlog
  • Work with other operational leaders in the organization to ensure seamless production delivery of new features within the organization’s suite of solutions
  • Work closely with the marketing team to support their delivery of new product capabilities and features to market
  • Take a lead role in working with third-party and customers stakeholders to drive integration of data, systems, and services with Canaccede products and services
  • Ensure new features and capabilities meet data security and governance standards relevant to a financial services organization, including PCI-DSS, PIPEDA, CASL, and similar standards
  • Report detailed status and delivery progress at regular intervals into PMO
  • Effectively communicate technical product roadmap to various stakeholders including Executive, Management and end users
  • Other duties as required

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or similar discipline
  • Good knowledge of Salesforce SalesCloud, Force.com, and related Salesforce platforms
  • Experience leading development projects on the Salesforce platform
  • Good understanding of data architecture principals
  • Experience leading technical development and QA teams
  • Experience in financial services or related industries is a strong asset, including knowledge of relevant Canadian industry concepts and regulations such as FINTRAC, AML / KYC policies, etc.
  • Collaborative leadership experience, with emphasis on a customer centric approach in effective communication
  • Experience managing offshore development teams is also an asset

Working Conditions

  • Physical demands typical to an office environment/administrative role
  • Travel will be required between Canaccede’s London, ON and Toronto, ON offices as needed.
  • Overtime as required
