What you’ll be doing:

The Junior Data Science role is focused on utilizing data to craft effective business solutions and achieve the company’s strategic goals. You will work with the Data Science team to help Senior Leaders make informed business decisions. You will be responsible for analysis, predictive modeling, data engineering, reporting and experimental testing for optimal product development and performance. This is a junior-level role.

Responsibilities:

• Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
• Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies.
• Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
• Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
• Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes.
• Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.

What We are Looking For:

• Undergraduate degree in Maths, Sciences, or Engineering.
• Experience with machine learning and statistical analysis.
• Proficient in one or more statistical programming languages (Python, R, SQL, etc.).
• Natural inquisitiveness.
• Excellent communicator who can clearly articulate and present complex data and analytical concepts to stakeholders of varying technical backgrounds.
• Analytical thinker with strong problem solving skills.
• Results-driven with a passion for research and innovation.
• Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
