Job Description

This 12-month contract position with London Hydro would be ideal for an experienced IT professional who can thrive in a results-oriented environment.

As a Business Systems Analyst, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects – CRM, Customer-facing Web, SAP, HRIS, and JDE – eliciting and documenting business and functional requirements from internal and external partners, including User Stories, Use Cases, Process Flows, Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTMs), RACI Matrix, etc.

JOB DUTIES
More specifically, your duties and responsibilities as a contract Business Systems Analyst will call for you to:
  • Lead requirement gathering and other sessions with stakeholders, to capture the requirements and specifications.
  • Actively manage client expectations on the BA work package, and the overall project when supporting in a Project Manager capacity.
  • Work with the delivery team(s) to ensure developed functionality matches the business requirements/processes and solves the identified business problems.
  • Create and disseminate documentation needed to support the delivery of working software which solves identified business problems.
  • Adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety Act rules and regulations, the IHSA's Electrical Utility Safety Rules, London Hydro safe work practices and procedures, and all components of London Hydro's health and safety program.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
As the successful candidate for the role of Business Systems Analyst, you will have the following profile:
  • A degree is Business or Computer Science.
  • Experience with the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • 3+ years of previous experience in a project management position.
The following strengths will be considered assets:
  • A working knowledge of Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira).
  • Experience with MS Visio or other process documentation tools.
  • Business Analysis certification.
