Technical Illustrator Associate (P53)

Key Job Elements:

• Develop electronic technical illustrations IAW contractual and stylistic requirements for operator, maintenance and component technical publications.
• Liaison with source data groups to collect data required to complete the illustrations to meet contractual requirements.
• Electronically draw technical illustrations from engineering drawings or source data files using Adobe products.
• Responsible for detailing engineering models using Unigraphics NX for the purpose of illustrating.
• Responsible for maintaining and managing electronic files IAW departmental requirements using a Content Management System.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by meeting quality, cost, and schedule obligations.
• Ensure that illustrations are created IAW with the Integrated Master Schedule.
• Monitor budgets to ensure that work is performed within the allotted budget.

Position Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

• College Diploma or University Degree in a related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years technical illustration experience.
• Proficient communication, organization and prioritization skills
• Strong engineering drawing reading skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop.
• Proficiency with Windows network environment and desktop office applications.
• Experience with Unigraphics NX and Teamcenter Engineering.
• Ability to travel (5% Cdn) and (5% US & Int'l) and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport.
• Must be able to meet Anthropometrical Size Restrictions for confined space.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of Content Management System
