What Opportunity Awaits?

Libro is currently on an epic search for a Information Technology Analyst (L2 - Network) to perform a variety of professional, technical and analytical duties in the operation of enterprise, client/server and desktop computer systems and networks. Duties include work in the areas of user and system requirements and analysis, applications maintenance, computer systems support, maintenance and data administration. A lead worker, technically proficient in performing their assigned duties at a high level of independence under minimal supervision and a point of escalation for Level 1 Analysts and others throughout the organization.

 

What you will do - The Epic Human we are looking for will;

  • Plan and implement any improvement, modification, or replacement of network infrastructure components.
  • Monitor and analyze network performance across the organization’s LANs, WANs, and wireless deployments ensuring a stable and optimal network.
  • In coordination with the Security Analyst, ensure perimeter devices, servers and endpoint devices are secured and safeguarded against cybersecurity related threats.
  • Work with technical staff in other departments to keep the network and systems operating in a stable manner that meets the organizations standards.
  • Responsible for administration, deployment and support for both server related hardware and software across all locations as defined by management and steering committees.
  • Analyze, coordinate, and deliver resolutions to issues for staff as assigned\escalated through HelpDesk.
  • Provide friendly remote and on-site support to administration and branches for software and hardware related issues.
  • Maintain flexible hours, participating as a senior pager carrier for 24/7 on-call services as scheduled, escalate when necessary and respond to emergency situations as required.

 

What we are looking for - Could this be you?

  • A minimum of a post-secondary degree/diploma, with 3-5 years of related experience, preferably in System Administration or Networking.
  • Expert knowledge of PC software and hardware is required to provide on-going support to our administration offices and network of branches.
  • An understanding of data centers, working with servers, SAN, NAS, SFTP and MDM.
  • Experience in configuring and maintaining firewalls, VPN, routers and switches.
  • Network experience with LAN and WAN operations.
