Marketing Specialist

Purpose of Position:

• This role is to develop marketing programs gain new customers and provide support to existing small to medium sized consumers and dealers.
• Create and implement marketing plans to gain leads, sales, site visits, opens etc.

Result area of the Position:

• Implement creative projects and campaigns to boost brand image and generate sales
• Research appropriate sources to gain sales leads with established goals and criteria
• Monitor and assess success of marketing initiatives to date, highlight areas for improvement
• Ensure ISO 9001 quality control compliance and documentation

Qualifications:

• Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven SEO and SEM experience and/or certification
• Familiar with social media platforms, online marketing, and the use of data algorithms
• Knowledge of digital marketing tools like google analytics and google ads
• Bachelor’s degree or certificate in marketing or related field
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Provide clear and consistent communication
• Organized, detail orientated and prioritizing tasks well
• Presentation skills in online and in person environments
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Working knowledge of photo shop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat
• Knowledge about email marketing software
• Self-motivated and a team player
• 1-2 years of work, internship or coop experience can be an asset
• Valid full G drivers’ license and willingness to drive on major highways
• Travel as required

Key Accountabilities:

• Create and implement marketing plans to gain leads, sales, site visits and all other related tasks
• Ensuring all information on social media is up-to-date and accurate
• Optimize content for website and social media platforms
• Marketing support for sales representatives to maintain small to medium sized dealers and customers on calls or through visits
• Consult with Marketing Manager and sales team to create digital marketing campaigns to attract new customers
• Research and implement SEO (Search Engine Optimization) recommendations
• Track, report and analyze website analytics and campaigns
• Creating targeted client list for eblast creation and scheduling by using email software
• Results of each campaign to be tracked and reported
• Research of new target markets
• Monitor sales and marketing emails
• Coordination and website maintenance through our internal Content Management System (CMS). Website maintenance includes implementing copy writing, image development, new product updates, part number and price updates within the CMS system. Programming is not required.
• Planning and coordinating promotions, events, information sessions and tradeshows
• Research and implement updated techniques\
• Tasks as required by manager

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $36,000.00-$39,000.00 per year
