About the role

The Project Manager (PM) role is a challenging, dynamic, customer-facing role that is central to the Industrial/Commercial project business. In this position you will be responsible for the design and delivery of multiple projects to meet customer requirements and corporate objectives.

 

Working closely with Sales or Applications Engineers, to understand customer needs, we will rely on you to to define customer requirements and release to production, ensuring the Aquafine solution is delivered per the agreed to specification, on time and on budget. You will engage frequently with customers and stakeholders in the market to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project life-cycle. As a successful PM, you will produce On Time and On Budget Delivery of projects, as well as high quality of projects and processes according to our corporate standards (metrics and ISO).

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Sales partners to develop winning proposals based on cost effective solutions that meet customer requirements

  • Manage projects including technical and commercial aspects - reviews contracts and technical specifications; ensures that performance, cost, and quality objectives are met; works with others in the PMO Team to deliver custom solutions

  • Provide professional customer service, negotiating and resolving issues with customers and external stakeholders through all phases of the project to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Solve technical problems, evaluating systems and or processes to determine root cause and implement corrective actions as required, engaging subject matter experts as needed

  • Communicate accurately and in a timely manner about issues, risks, and corrective actions related to the projects

  • Work in accordance with legal, safety, and regulatory requirements and completes work in accordance with corporate standards

  • Leverage the tools of our success formula - the Danaher Business System (DBS rooted in lean manufacturing principles) to drive continuous improvement of processes and work products, sharing opportunities to improve and learnings with the team

 

Are you qualified?

  • 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience required, preferably in project management

  • Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams required

  • Previous experience in customer relations and negotiations required

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (mechanical, electrical, P&ID) an asset

  • Knowledge of water treatment plant processes a plus
