In our NA Engineering Team at Trackunit, we’re looking for a new colleague who is good at working with customers and implementing their product requests via code. Someone, who loves to map the physical world into the digital.

This role will be based out of the London office, however, remote opportunities available. You may need to come into the office periodically to pick up equipment or attend team gatherings.

Every day is different, but you can expect to:

• Develop new customer configurations and software packages to solve real-life customer problems.
• You will work in a self-managed team, so expect to be heard and strive to make an impact.
• You will drive key technological decisions together with your team.
• Work with Software Developers to understand the whole platform.
• Experience in taking customer requests and turning them into software configurations.
• Configure applications as per customer requirements via YAML files.
• Push code to both physical hardware devices and to our AWS infrastructure.
• Facilitate stakeholder management by being transparent in the work ongoing.
• Determine new way to make the configuration process more efficient and automated.
• Working with hardware to troubleshoot and test.

Who are you?

• 2+ years working in the technical field.
• Strong organization and communication skills with customers.
• Understanding of basic software development principals and testing.
• Ability to communicate effectively to our customer facing team.
• Able to look for opportunities to make the systems and process more effective.

What happens from here - overview of the recruitment process

We go through a process including,

• Meet and greet - likely on a virtual video call. Here you will meet the hiring manager and a colleague from our People & Talent team, and we’re looking forward to it!
• Personality-based interview. You will be asked to fill out an online personality assessment using use Hogan prior to the interview. There is no correct answers and we are not trying to categorize you - the aim is a dialogue about the results and Trackunit’s culture.
• Technical interview. Based on the learnings from the process you will be given a Technical assignment to prepare.
