Responsibilities

The Project Coordinator/Manager for the Cardiac Amyloid Clinic at Western University will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of research and its interface with clinical care. This individual will help coordinate visit times, oversee aspects of clinical care such as facilitating drug availability via public and private payers, interface with all team members (e.g. industry), completing tasks in conjunction with pharmaceutical and governmental partners. A clear ability to provide leadership in this role will be required. 

Qualifications 

Education:
-   Undergraduate Degree in Pharmacy, Doctoral degree preferred;

Experience:
-   2 years' work experience in a pharmacy field, a background in cardiac pharmaceuticals is preferred
-   Inpatient and outpatient experience with heart failure treatments and in dealing with those diagnosed with heart failure
-   Exeperience in dealing with the Ontario Ministry of Health's Exceptional Access Program
-   Familiarity with best practices in building a strong collaborative team and leading people
-   Familiarity with project life cycles
-   Familiarity with techniques for planning, managing and coordinating multiple projects, with competing priorities that involve a variety of stakeholders
-   Project management skills to clearly and effectively interact with all levels of the organization
-   A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation and conflict resolution skills
-   Results-oriented with the ability to motivate and coach employees to meet high performance standards
-   Ability to interact professionally with students, staff, faculty, and other members of the University community
-   Strong client focus with a desire to achieve results
