We are establishing our new head office in London and looking to grow our team in this region! Candidates located in this region will be given preference.

Salary Grade: N04 From: $62,187.00 To: $77,734.00
Job Summary:
The HR Data Administration Specialist is responsible for the accurate entry and maintenance of employee records. Responds to internal staff enquiries pertaining to the processing of employment related transactions.
Major Responsibilities:
- Audit, verify and coordinate the processing of all employment related transactions, such as but not limited to new hires, status changes, benefits enrollment, etc.
- Ensure documentation is complete and in compliance with appropriate business rules, collective agreement, salary administration guidelines and policies and relevant employment legislation
- Ensure processing timelines meet payroll cut off deadlines
- Liaise with the Business, Talent Acquisition Centre and Payroll to obtain missing information and/or clarification with regards to new hire documentation received.
- Process miscellaneous transactions such as vacation cash out requests, flex updates, death claims for deceased active employees, etc.
- Update system data in response to requests for confidential estimates of severance in relation to business planning and proposed organizational change
- Provide customer/support services to all internal staff and managers on enquiries pertaining to the processing of employment related transactions.
- Answer employee and manager inquiries around benefits, salary, etc. as inputted in the PeopleSoft HR system
- Answer employee and manager inquiries around collective agreement interpretations and HR policy inquiries; ensure interpretation issues are raised appropriately through management and labour relations
- Refer more complex inquiries to the appropriate party within the branch or redirect other areas within HR Division
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on ongoing labour relations, HR policy and collective agreement issues and interpretations in order to appropriately advise management and employees upon receiving related inquiries
- Perform daily and biweekly HRMS data integrity checks to ensure own work has been completed accurately.
- Check the Salary Proration and Additional Pay reports to ensure information entered in PeopleSoft is correct.

- College diploma
- Experience:
- 1-2 years HR experience
- 1-2 years customer service experience
- Technical Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
