Manager, Data & Impact – Trottier Fellow
The Manager, Data and Impact -Trottier Fellow leads the data and impact functions for the organization. This includes working with staff and external partners to design and conduct evaluations across all program areas; overseeing all information systems functions including the collection, compiling and reporting of metrics; and responsibility for the design and maintenance and optimization of data infrastructure. The incumbent is also responsible for planning and budgeting, recruiting and hiring, coaching and mentoring team members, leading workflows, performance and risk management, and reporting on team activities and accomplishments. It also includes the responsibility to ensure that individual and team goals are aligned with overall Let’s Talk Science strategies and plans.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Post-secondary education with related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 7 years framing and executing data and impact initiatives or projects
- Knowledge of survey design and analysis and e-communication software
- Experience leading impact and evaluation projects and teams, including manipulation of data
- Experience in a leadership role within data management and analytics
- Understanding of the importance of education and science, technology, engineering and math to society
- Experience establishing, building and maintaining relationships at all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders
- Willingness to travel to meetings and other events as needed
- Bilingual (English/French) an asset
