Role Overview

The Talent Acquisition Specialist works as part of the Talent Acquisition function within Human Resources and reports to the Senior Director, Talent Acquisition. The Talent Acquisition Specialist works with a large degree of autonomy in providing a consultative end-to-end recruitment service to an assigned business unit. 

This position will partner specifically with our HR Sales division Mclean & Company on high volume of inside and outside/field sales and account management recruiting. Working with another Talent Specialist you will partner and provide a consultative recruiting service, to a diverse group of Hiring Managers, helping them to define, build and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract and engage top commercial talent across the US and Canada. 

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is accountable for meeting high expectations and standards and will be measured on their quality of hires, time to hire and stakeholder satisfaction.

Managing expectations, influencing best practice decisions, and providing insights for improvement will also be expected.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a Business, HR or Communications related subject 
  • Minimum 5-7 years high volume commercial/sales focused recruiting experience
  • Proven success hiring top quality talent, in large volumes.
  • Proven experience within with market leading HRIS and/or ATS’s ideally UKG
  • Proven experience negotiating commercial offers with a variety of compensations structure (OTE, Threshold etc.)

Ideal Profile Overview

  • Demonstrated experience sourcing passive commercial talent in both the US and Canada.
  • Ability to find, scope, source, engage and assess commercial talent
  • Ability to negotiate all aspects of an offer including total compensation and benefits balancing the need to engage top talent, as well as working within salary bands and guidelines.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills able to work independently to partner with, influence and support demanding stakeholders at a senior level.
  • Proven experience operating as a trusted recruitment adviser with high degree of interpersonal communication skills.
  • Intrinsically motivated, optimistic individual with demonstrated flexibility and adaptability. 
  • Ability to self-manage and work autonomously in a fast paced, aggressively growing and changing environment.
  • Exceptional administration and organization skills with great attention to detail - we do all our own administrative work including postings, reporting, trackers etc. so efficiency and organization are key.
  • Exceptional IT skills specifically in Excel and PowerPoint with exposure to working with CRM/ATS systems
  • Strong reporting skills, able to work to support the drive towards robust recruitment reporting and metrics
