The Technical Analyst role is focused on systems administration in a Microsoft based enterprise environment. The primary role is managing Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory services and Windows Server operating systems. The Technical Analyst assists in the procurement and provision of new products to meet the clinical and administrative business needs of the London hospitals. The Technical Analyst provides an advanced level of support, including assistance in establishing vendor support contracts, and often provides 24/7 on-call support of critical infrastructure components.

Qualifications

As the ideal candidate, you have:

  • Successful completion of a three (3) year community college diploma in Computer Science or related field; Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant or related work experience required
  • Demonstrated advanced experience managing Microsoft 365 systems including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Endpoint Manager, OneDrive
  • Demonstrated advanced experience managing Microsoft Azure cloud services
  • Demonstrated advanced experience with Microsoft management tools such as Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Demonstrated advanced experience with Microsoft server operating systems
  • Demonstrated advanced experience with Microsoft desktop operating systems
  • Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI is an asset
  • Experience in PowerShell programming/scripting is an asset
  • Proficient knowledge in modern networking infrastructure
  • Ability to be on call and provide support in a 24x7x365 environment is mandatory
  • Experience with clinical processes, nomenclature, and the hospital environment is an asset
  • Advanced skills in process-centric thinking
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Advanced organizational skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities and ambiguity
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Advanced ability to work cooperatively as a team and to facilitate meetings and workgroups

Immunization Requirements:

  • Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis. 
  • Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step) and COVID vaccine series.
