Position Overview:
You don’t just manage accounts. You see opportunities where others don’t. You understand that executive education isn’t about one-off training sessions. It’s about helping organizations solve real leadership challenges.
You thrive in conversations with HR leaders, L&D professionals, and senior executives, not just because you’re good with people but because you know how to ask the questions that reveal the leadership gaps they haven’t yet recognized. You help organizations connect the dots between their business challenges and Ivey’s leadership development solutions—custom programs, open enrollment programs, executive coaching, and more.

Responsibilities:
1. Relationship Management - Existing Accounts
- Expand engagement across accounts by executing strategies that embed Ivey as a critical leadership development partner.
- Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders by staying engaged, building trust, and ensuring Ivey is the first choice when they think about leadership development.
- Be the go-to contact for clients, keeping conversations active, solving challenges, and making sure they stay engaged with Ivey
- Turn relationships into long-term partnerships by continuously providing value—delivering insights, thought leadership, and industry expertise that reinforce Ivey's role as a trusted partner.
- Expand the number of connection points within organizations, building strong relationships across multiple levels to solidify long-term partnerships.
- Reignite inactive accounts by proactively re-engaging decision-makers and showing them how Ivey's offerings align with their businesses' evolving needs.
- Expand and deepen engagement across accounts by executing strategies that make Ivey a critical partner in leadership development.
2. Expand Client Investment
- Drive growth & expand client investment through sales, revenue, and account expansion.
- Expand revenues through active cross-selling and strategic promotion of Ivey Academy's custom programs, open enrollment courses, and executive coaching solutions.
- Turn previously inactive accounts into committed partners—leveraging their renewed engagement with Ivey's insights to demonstrate how leadership development directly impacts business success.
- Guide organizations through multi-touchpoint learning journeys, reducing friction in decision-making and ensuring they maximize their investment in Ivey's offerings.
- Identify and engage decision-makers by collaborating across teams to source insights, refine strategies, and develop solutions that address concerns and drive long-term commitments.
- Develop and implement account management strategies that foster deeper engagement, uncover new opportunities, and drive sustainable revenue growth.
- Achieve revenue and growth targets by expanding client investments, introducing Enterprise Bundles and Executive Coaching, and strengthening long-term partnerships.
3. Account Management & Business Process Support
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency, client experience, and long-term impact.
- Support internal teams by tracking key performance metrics and helping refine strategies for sales, marketing, and program development.
- Maintain accurate and insightful client records in Salesforce, ensuring seamless tracking of engagement, contracts, and service agreements.
- Contribute to the creation of sales presentations, proposals, and other required account-specific support.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree, with specialization in business administration preferred
- Minimum of four years of sales and account management experience with interaction at the senior executive level or in the Corporate Learning and Development community in a related field.
Skills & Abilities
- Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales targets and building long-term client relationships.
- Results-driven, with a strong commitment to client satisfaction
- Confidence and credibility in engaging senior executives, HR leaders, and key decision-makers.
- Strategic thinking: you see the bigger picture and know how to connect client challenges with Ivey’s leadership solutions.
- Strong general business knowledge with a proactive approach to staying informed on industry trends and business environment shifts.
- Sound judgment and confidence in making independent decisions, ensuring key stakeholders are involved and informed.
- Excels in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment, demonstrating strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence, persuade, and drive engagement.
- Experience with client relationship management platforms; familiarity with Salesforce.com is an asset.
