Position Summary:

The IT Director will lead, prioritize and develop the organizations’ Information Technology workstreams, position self as a true strategic digital partner of the organization, driving innovation and revenue generating ideas throughout the business. Find opportunities for improvement of our technology landscape, enable our critical initiatives and be a key change agent, able to influence and inspire the organization and business partners.

We're looking for a business leader with an excellent technical background who understands the complexities of various business units and how they work together towards common business strategies. This role will have the opportunity to think creatively, build strong relationships and have high impact on the future of our business from an IT perspective!

This role would ideally be based in London, Ontario but remote options with travel may also be considered.

Core Accountabilities:

• Provide global IT leadership by establishing the IT strategy, objectives, plans and priorities that will further support overall Trojan Technologies initiatives
• Collaborate with internal and external business leaders to develop and maintain an IT/applications roadmap ensuring the prioritization, risk management and leadership to deliver on the expected business results, as well as ensuring sustainment
• Perform application rationalization and consolidation of systems to improve business processes and eliminate waste
• Work closely with Trojan’s leadership and Water Quality IT to ensure alignment of information technology with the business goals, as well as compliance with Danaher IT standards. Ensure and sustain compliance with all Danaher regulations related to IT – SOX compliance
• Create diverse and inclusive teams that deliver results by attracting, developing and evaluating talent to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
• Champion the use of process improvement tools and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
• Responsible for digitalization of core business processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business Administration, Masters of Science or MBA or equivalent experience
• •8+ year supporting multiple functions within Information Technology including ERP, BI, CRM, Infrastructure and IT Services in a fast paced, global multi-site manufacturing or distribution setting
• Experience in people management and developing a team with varied strengths
• •5+ years of experience in handling ERP projects is highly valued
• •Experience in planning and execution of business goals
