Senior Systems and Data Administrator

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide support for Orca’s people and systems. Duties will include managing systems in Microsoft Azure, writing SQL queries for reporting, assisting with client access issues and general assistance to the CTO. The successful candidate should also expect to assist with processing data, setting up EDI for clients and partners and other general tasks. Key to any candidate’s success in this role will be their understanding that working for a growing company like Orca requires everyone to step outsaid of their job description at times. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology and be willing to commit time and energy to learning new skills. Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Manage Azure Active Directory
• Maintain Azure SQL Databases
• Conduct regular security audits
• Utilize monitoring tools to detect and respond to security breaches
• Troubleshoot IT systems
• Assist in implementing EDI integrations
• Write SQL queries and preparing reports
• Assist in data processing as required
• Participate in QA testing
• Assist with day-to-day operations

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

• Understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
• Extensive experience writing SQL queries
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure
• Understanding of Server Systems
• VB.NET
• Knowledge of EDI
• Experience in the Transportation industry
