Job Description
We are looking for a Manager, Product Owner for the Digital Experience team as part of Canadian Operations and Business Enablement.

As a Manager, Product Owner you are responsible for leading the digital experience of our wealth platform for mutual fund and securities licensed advisors. Your day-to-day will consist of working closely with internal teams on delivering great experiences for our advisors, while understanding the impact that corporate strategy has on the product decisions. You’re responsible to ensure that the Product team has the tools required to succeed, by collaborating with technology, experience and business partners to ensure the right people are engaged in the process.
You will work with Wealth, Operations and change management teams to ensure the rollout of the product is successful and that the support teams are ready to take on the new technology. You will support the Director, Product Owner in creating and supporting the business case process, including KPIs, funding and strategic fit.
What you will do
- Develop roadmap in collaboration with the Director, Product Owner
- Own the vision and implementation of the digital experience for Advisor Connect, the main hub for wealth advisors
- Collaborate with other Product owners and Product leaders to ensure the roadmap fits into the overall strategic vision
- Guide teams through applicable end-to-end process
- Convert epics into user stories in collaboration with core team and impacted stakeholders
- Collaborate with technology partners on ideal solution to maximize product value and staffing model
- Set product and sprint goals and support team with all sprint-related activities (events, testing, backlog order, demos)
What you will bring
- Strong business knowledge of mutual fund and securities business (MFDA and IIROC)
- Ability to take information from multiple stakeholder groups to formulate a strong digital experience meeting their needs
- A broad network in the organization to pull the right connections and get things done
- Knowledge of Agile and ability to dynamically tailor approach to the situation
- Strong communication skills with ability to communicate complex messages to tell a compelling story
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders
- Problem solving mindset with ability to lead the team to push the solution and quickly structure and break down problems
- Strong coaching skill set with experience in coaching teams with various profiles
- A challenger mindset and passion to challenge status quo to find new solutions and drive out of the box ideas – loves and embraces change
- Believe in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency and trust across teams
The base salary for this position is between $96,200 - $146,200 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
