We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met, and identifying opportunities to drive revenue growth and retention. This role requires excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and a customer-centric approach.

 

 

Responsibilities
  • Prospecting potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities. 
  • Attend conference calls and web-based meetings. 
  • Involvement in negotiating Statement of Work (SOW) with clients and facilitating project requests in a purpose-driven environment. 
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations. 
  • Responsible for managing a broad book of accounts that vary in spend levels and the goal is to retain, grow and onboard new contacts. 
  • Meet productivity expectations in relation to the Voices Representative Productivity Index benchmarks.


 

Skills Required
  • Prospecting Skills, Sales Planning, Selling to Customer Needs, Closing Skills, Motivation for Sales, Presentation Skills, Meeting Sales Goals, Professionalism. 
  • Excellent communication skills; must be a listener, a good presenter, and a people-person
  • Salesforce.com Customer Relationship Management experience is considered an asset. 
  • At least 1-2 years on Inside Sales Teams, Acquisitions or Business Development Teams.

 

Educational Requirements  
  • Minimum of 3 years on-the-job experience in an individual contributor in a sales position with a proven track record of achieving targets.
  • Completion of college diploma or university degree or equivalent  experience. 
  • Experience communicating through video conferencing software like GMeet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams. 
  • Salesforce or CRM experience an asset. 
  • Valid passport for market travel opportunities considered an asset.
