Functionally rich, technically advanced and user friendly, PSD’s CityWide Enterprise Budgeting system is configurable for clients to deal with the current and future needs of an ever-demanding fiscal environment. Our applications are open-source and web-hosted.

 

As we continue to grow our team, we are seeking a full-time Product Owner with at least 4 years of experience to join the software team at our head office in London, ON.

 

Roles Description

While working within a cross-functional development team, you will be responsible to oversee the product development life cycle in an agile environment. As a someone who loves solving problems, you will find innovative solutions to tough challenges. In addition to solid technical skills, we are looking for candidates with strong oral and written communications skills. You must be able to provide solutions and guidance to a team of software developers and other stakeholders in the organization. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

Works in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs,

refines priorities, outlines milestones, identifies opportunities and risks and

delivers software solutions on-time, on-budget.

 

Translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements,

user stories, and estimates effort.

 

Maintains the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of

stakeholders.

 

Balance of technical knowledge and business acumen

 

Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to

manage multiple tasks effectively

 

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to engage,

influence, and inspire team members to drive results

 

 

Experience:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent

 

4+ years of product or project development experience

 

Skilled with launching new software products software and services in concert

with operations, sales, and marketing teams.

 

Deep understanding and experience with Agile methodologies.

 

Certified Scrum Master an asset
