We are currently hiring a full-time contract Software Quality Assurance Analyst L1 to support our London Administration team. This job posting is for an existing vacancy. 

The Software Quality Assurance Analyst conducts testing for enhancements and bug fixes on both internal and third-party applications, such as Online Banking and Mobile App platforms. Creates test plans, performs tests, monitors defects, and evaluates test outcomes, all while following established testing protocols.    

The base salary will be determined based on skills, experience, qualifications, education/training and internal equity. Our compensation practices are equitable and transparent, and support progression through the salary range as employees grow in the role.  

This role is for a 14-month contract.    

The Role:   

  • Carries out thorough testing of enhancements and bug fixes for the banking system, including online and mobile banking, as well as other software applications.  
  • Ensures risk minimization and compliance with business and technical requirements.  
  • Meticulously documents system testing activities to meet audit standards, detailing test procedures, results, and any issues encountered, while maintaining comprehensive logs for compliance and traceability
  • Analyze and investigate system errors, assisting in their correction and resolving reported issues.  
  • Maintain a database of outstanding errors, proposed enhancements, and supporting documentation.  
  • Evaluate the organizational impact of reported problems and recommend procedural or system changes.  
  • Review and update System Integrity Reports and logs daily, recommending actions for any integrity issues
  • Investigate and diagnose system errors, providing data-driven impact analysis.  
  • Offer expert support and precise solutions to staff for system-related issues  
  • Offer technical guidance and effective solutions for issues related to internal banking applications.  
  • Diagnose problems and providing step-by-step resolutions to staff   

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Post-secondary degree in Software Testing or Computer Programmer Analysis.
  • 3-5 years’ experience within financial services.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Skilled in SQL for data validation and testing is preferred.
  • A passion for helping people grow their financial well-being.
